Play Bouncy Supreme
There is a part of Jelly World where the Jelly isn't as tasty as it should be. An inhospitable place, filled with Jelly Volcanoes, rivers of Jelly Lava and ominous Jelly Clouds.
In Bouncy Supreme you play the part of a rather unlucky Jelly Blumaroo who has bounced his way a bit
too far away from home, and really wants to get back. Unfortunately a gigantic Pterodactyl has spied
his lunch...
Hop into your Cloud Racer and try to head off your opponent with a thick trail of smoke.
Using the arrow keys navigate your racer around trees, houses, and the smoke trail of each opponent.
Try to defeat them as quickly as you can in order to earn as many points as possible.
Finally Crisis Courier is launched on Neopets! It is my first game using Bitmap Data to create, the background and the sky is place into a single piece of bitmap using copy pixel technique instead of the old method using movieclip tiles.
This method does not only increases the performance, it also make the coding easier! Instead of the older method where we use a big array to hold all the tiles and move them using a for loop. Now we just place them and render the bitmap on every frame.
The story is about King Altador has an urgent message that he needs delivered, You will play as his messenger the Yooyu. This is played using mouse to move your character. Clicking on the left mouse button will let you switch between the fire Yooyu and the snow Yooyu, depending on what kind of obstacles or enemies you're facing. There are items to collect, which some will let your Yooyu change to Mutant Yooyu or Faerie Yooyu. Mutant Yooyu let you kill all enemies. While Faerie Yooyu let you get more point when collecting goodies bags. *CAUTION - There is side effect using them...hehe...

When I was in The Upper Story, one of the CD-Rom Presentation I work on was for a CDMA phone Nokia launched. I was the developer and Jeff was my designer for this project.
We used flash video for the transition, if you have seen the CD-Rom Presentation, you notice in the transition, the video will appear, it will flip into the section the user selected. This was created using a layer of video on top of the interface to create flipping effect.
This presentation is a CD-Rom offline presentation in your usual Nokia phone box package. It is also a CD-Rom for installing Nokia PC Suite, where user can use the program to transfer and organise files in the phone.
Jeff has recently posted the project on BehanceNetwork, to view videos and screenshot of the project, click on here.
If you are interested about the phone, you can view the link of Nokia 6275i
Jolly Jugglers is a Neopets game about two brother Jolly and Olly saving their sister Holly, whom was kidnapped by the evil Mutant Chia who is jealous of their skill in juggling. This was a moving upwards platform game, where user have to keep jumping upwards on the beanstalk where they will face their nemesis at the top.
In order to make good collision and smooth display of the terrain, the game have to be made with a grid game engine. Using a 2D array, we can place the tiles onto the screen and take them out any time it is out of the screen, this greatly cut down the amount of computer resource needed, if we were to load all non visible tiles onto the stage, it will definately hangs the Flash Player.
Artificial Intelligent (AI) is definately not as complicated as Meepit vs Feepit, all we need to create is to let the enemies or mob in the game decide to move left or right, letting them know when hit the limit, they should make a turn etc. The last stage is pretty much a sequence of actions like Megaman made by Capcom, example the boss in the game will shoot, jump, charge then repeat the sequence again, it will randomise some sequence in order to make it less predictable.
This game was featured in Neopets Magazine Issue 17. You can view the List of Magazine.

These are my artwork I did when I was serving my national service. They are designed using Han Dynasty armour with a bit of simplified armour design. Using blue as the armour was to give the viewer the feeling of security and justice. I am not a artist, but I do like to draw little cartoons during my free time.
If you have watch the TV Drama, Han Wu Da Di ( Great Emperor Wu of Han ), will understand alot of Han Dynasty's inventions, technology and philosophy.
I also drew a Chinese General and his wife. My posing skill is very lousy, so they all stand straight.
Recently I saw a article on Battle of ZhiZhi during Han Wu Di's reign, during the battle against the Xiong Nu. Xiong Nu Chieftain has a troop of mecenary that uses a formation similar to Roman's formations. After winning the battle, these mecenary is captured and brought back to China. Han Wu Di order building a city Liqian ( Roman Empire name in Han Dynasty ).

When I was in The Upper Storey, I work on a project to make a repair tree help for Nokia using Flash to make. It uses a xml to link from section to section, so the client can change the question and where the user selection will point to. The end of the presentation will have a summary of what the user has chosen.
This was designed by Jeff, my buddy at The Upper Storey. I work with him on quite a few project. By the way, what you see here is not the original design, the original we did has a very cool bread crumps function. Well... dun ask me why we take out, you know how client works...hehe...
You can view it at the link Nokia Repair Support Page
I will feature one of my favourite work at Neopets, Meepit vs Feepit. This is a Versus Game, which player will be Feepit to fight against 5 Meepits, the Blue Meepit in Neopia Central, Dung Meepit in Haunted Woods, Faerie Meepit in Faerie Land, Tyrannian Meepit in and lastly the Fire Meepit.
This project was created in Actionscript 2.0 (AS2), it was my first project using AS2, as I am more familiar with AS1. With the help of a source file of a Asteroid game written in AS2. Lucky back in my Polytechnic days, we learn Object Oriented Programming in C++, with that knowledge, I quickly pickup the method of writing class file and functions in AS2.
Writing in AS2 wasn't really a big headache, the big problem is, how would I create a good Artificial Intelligent (AI) for the computer controlled characters? With the advice of my mentor, Ollie, I understand the technique of action and reaction preset. For example, if I press kick, what will the computer react, how will he counter and what are the percentage that he will do some other stupid move in order let the player sucessfully hit it, if not by default the computer will be a perfect opponent, blocking every single attack the player do. With this technique, we could create this simple yet challenging AI.
